The Turkish kids return home after triumphant success in the international project

 

The “Nuclear Kids-2013” International Creativity Project has come to its end. It started on July 07 in Hungary. Children from nine countries: Russian, Hungary, Ukraine, Estonia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Republic of South Africa, France and Bangladesh took part in the «Nuclear Kids» fifth anniversary. The «Nuclear Kids» Creativity Project unites endowed children from across the globe. The main goals of the project are to give a chance to the nuclear industry employees’ children to disclose the actor’s, vocal and dancing abilities as well as to acquaint with their counterparts from different countries of the world. In 2013 for the first time the major part of the project was carried out outside the Russian Federation.

 

80 children, who had passed tough auditions, headed by, have staged an hour-and-half musical just in three weeks under the guidance of the creative group of the project. «It is worth to note that every year the project beats its own records. This year it was a complexity record, when the almost two-hour show, very complicated by dramaturgy, choreography and with regard to the musical content was staged within three weeks» - explains the «Nuclear Kids» Project manager Anna Trapeznikova. The show action happens in a regular Russian school, where the International Children Contest “Talents of XXI century” filming takes place. The school editorial board covers the contest progress, and the journalism becomes the main the topic in the show. According to the project participants the musical discloses the mystery of the profession and relationship of the characters – friendship, intrigues, jealousy and love. “This is a story about the school, about issues understandable for kids from various countries. This is a story about us, and we have nothing to concoct. As a result we have an excellent show. We became friends during rehearsals and performances” shared her impressions Idil Köker a project participant from Turkey.

 

After rehearsals the very young creative company has to go to the very large-scale road tour in the history of the project. The first night took place in the city of Keazthely (Hungary), which became the real rehearsal ground for the kids. After the final act of the show the spectators rose in applause and many times encored the young performers. «I was just amazed by the show. These kids are real energy generators. Really small NPPs!» shared his impressions the State Secretary of the Ministry of National Development of Hungary Pal Kovach. The Hungarian mass media actively inquired about the history of the project and prospects of its continuation. «This year we decided to run the project in Hungary mainly to transfer a technology to our partners. We hope that next year the «Nuclear Kids» will run in parallel in Russian and Hungary, and then an exchange of children shows can be implemented» said at the press-conference Sergey Novikov, originator of the project, Head of the Communication Department of Rosatom State Corporation.

 

After some time the residents of the capital of the Czech Republic saw the show. Young performers demonstrated their creative abilities on the stage of the European theater of Comedy in Prague. The spectators applauded to the “nuclear” actors, who staged an hour-and-a-half musical with difficult choreography and interesting stage direction.

After the triumphant success in Europe the creative team went to win the Russian spectators. The kids performed in the city of Tomsk, Sosnovy Bor (satellite town of Leningrad NPP) and won the capital of Russia, Moscow. The first night of the musical “We” took place in the Tomsk Theater for the Young Audiences, and the young actors gave their sincere emotions and positive energy to the audience. Besides the musical staged this year the audience in Tomsk received a “bonus”, performance of the past-year project participants. They purposely came to see the jubilee show, communicate and support friends. «They are better than we are, and it is wonderful! The musical is so great!» said one of the previous project participant Nastya Lyamtseva having no scruples about her emotions and near enough to tear of joy.

 

Sosnovy Bor met the young actors of the «Nuclear Kids-2013» Project with multi-color balloons, loud music and mass scale sporting contests. The kids’ tour coincided with the Day of builder, which was celebrated at length in the satellite town of Leningrad NPP. «The Day of builder for the residents of Sosnovy Bor is a very particular holiday. Thanks to construction of Leningrad NPP 40 years ago, the cozy and comfortable for life town of Sosnovy Bor came into existence. Today the future of this town is also closely related to construction of Leningrad NPP-2» noted in his welcome speech the NPP Director Vladimir Pereguda. The young performers, inspired with positive and supported by friends, came to the stage, where they demonstrated technical skill of professional dancers, artistic skill and “getting lit” the audience with their energy, which was in eyes of every project participant.

 

And finally the end of the tour - Moscow! 80 «nuclear» kids went to the stage of the popular Moscow’s “Et cetera” theater. It is hard to amaze the capital of the Russian Federation with something. But the Moscow audience caught fancy of the prepared musical; it applauded even during the staged show. The young actors demonstrated that they are very capable after a month of rehearsals and successful tours in Europe. In five years the creative school of Rosatom State Corporation become a real star factory. Many children could dream of vocal, choreographic and artistic skills master classes of professionals from Moscow.

 

The «NucKids» project long ago become popular among the countries, where there are Russian nuclear technologies. Every year the number of participants and international composition grows. The project ought to increase friendly relationship between children of the employees of nuclear enterprises of Russia and foreign states, to develop new traditions of cultural interaction and children’s creativity. The idea and implementation of the «Nuclear Кids» Creativity Project belongs to Rosatom, Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation.

Over a period of two years we provide for participation of the children from the Republic of Turkey in this event. In 2014 Akkuyu NPP will be a partner of this project and we review a possibility to organize it on territory of the Republic of Turkey».
